Dedicated to the memory of Hazel Butterworth

This site is a tribute to Hazel Butterworth. Our wonderful mum, grandma, partner and friend. She was such an amazing lady and we were all so privileged to have her in our lives. She is much loved and will always be remembered and greatly missed.

We chose World Cancer Research, as my mum Hazel was a lifelong member. Additionally, Hazel had nursed many people suffering from cancer, so we thought that the local Andover hospice was a worthy cause. Finally as a family we found that the Spinal Injury Association was a great support, when Hazel first had her accident and we were coming to understand her injuries.

Hazel....Happy , optimistic, energetic, boundlessly youthful, sociable, fun loving, friendly. I could keep going with this and I'm sure anyone who knew Hazel would recognise these qualities I saw and much more, in addition to this Hazel was a super mother an endlessly devoted grandmother as well as the loved partner to Robin. For all those who were lucky enough to know Hazel her passing will leave a huge void but hopefully can be tempered by the joy and positivity of her friendship and time spent together with her..
